Technology

We are proud to offer modern dental technology and techniques to our patients so you can enjoy the most comfortable, efficient, and effective dentistry possible.

Feel free to read on to learn more about the technology we use in our practice.

Digital X-Rays

Digital x-rays allow us to deliver high-quality x-rays that are immediately ready for our patients and dentists to view together with around 90% less radiation than traditional film.

Our dentists can diagnose problems or dental concerns quicker and more accurately with a better view from digital x-rays.

Digital images also leave less of a footprint on our environment with no harsh chemicals needed to develop them.

Intraoral Camera

"A picture is worth a thousand words," and the same goes for your teeth!

Our intraoral camera allows us to show you color pictures of your teeth and mouth. When you can see photos of the concerns in your mouth, you can make educated decisions about the best treatment for your smile.

The Wand (Single Tooth Anesthetic)

The Wand makes getting an injection of dental anesthetic more comfortable than ever before. It is a computer-assisted local anesthetic delivery system that minimizes the discomfort you feel during a dental injection and provides more contained numbness in the area.

Getting a procedure at Dental Park is streamlined, efficient, and more comfortable than ever with The Wand.

Cone Beam CT

Our Cone Beam CT provides 3-D images of your teeth, mouth, and jawbone that we use to plan for implant placement surgeries. With 3-D images, we can pre-plan implant placement to achieve the best outcomes during surgery.

Guided implant surgery provides excellent and reliable results for our patients since our dentists can place implants with the utmost precision.

Digital Impressions

If you ever needed a crown or orthodontic treatment in the past, you may have had impressions taken of your teeth. This used to be a messy, uncomfortable process until the dawn of digital impressions.

These days, our dentists can scan a 3-D image of your teeth directly to our computers. We use these images to create same-day crowns and Invisalign treatment plans, among other things. As a result, taking impressions of your smile has never been easier or more comfortable for you!

Same-Day Crowns

Digital impressions and CAD/CAM technology allow our dentists to create ceramic porcelain restorations, including dental crowns here in our Dedham dental office, in a single appointment.

Now patients don't have to wait weeks to complete treatment like dental crowns. Instead, our dentists will scan an impression of the compromised tooth, which goes directly to our computer. There they will design your new restoration, which we will fabricate while you wait with a milling machine located in our dental office.

You'll leave our dental office in Dedham with a brand new, durable, and high-quality porcelain crown in about 90 minutes.
